I'm just some girl. i live in a house on a street in a little town on a big map and i live my life according to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That and only that, makes me special.

My name is Mara. I'm 19 years old and i live in Ohio. I was having trouble with holding on to things that really weren't there. God really put that into perspective for me a while ago. The people I thought were my friends ended up being the people that hurt me the most. I do have a few people left that I know without a doubt I can trust. it's awesome now, though. i have people in my life that truly love me and i'm nothing more than exstatic!!!! I love Jesus!!!!!

Besides that, I'm in a band called Self Inflicted Wounds. We're a synthetic melodic conservative hardcore band. It's so awesome to play music for people and see their reaction. There are pictures of us on the page I posted. Right now we just got home from out Oxymoron Tour in Tokyo. It was rad!! We have a new albumn coming out, check our site to see when we are touring next.

Also, I'm in school at Youngstown State University studying education. I'm working towards teaching math, but we'll see what God has planned for me. I have the best of friends, anyone could ask for, despite a few trips i made... haha JOhnny is one of my bestest friends ever, cuz he's there for me. Jude is another close friend of mine and she's in the band with me! She always makes me laugh. And Courtney and Michele.... what can I say, they stick with me through everything. I love all of them and I feel so blessed that God has put them into my life.
